Strengthening Homes. Lowering Energy Costs. Building Community Resilience.
The Westside Resilience Corridor is a coalition of churches in historic Westside Atlanta working alongside Groundswell to strengthen local infrastructure and resilience capacity throughout the community.
The coalition includes Atlanta Good Shepherd Community Church, Community Church Atlanta, Providence Baptist Church, and West Hunter Street Baptist Church.
Residents in Southwest Atlanta spend a larger share of their income on energy costs than anywhere else in the city. This initiative was created to help address that challenge by connecting eligible households with energy-saving upgrades and resources.
In select cases, improvements may also include necessary home repairs.
